Following a huge response to last year's mid-week event with Magda and our most successful summer of Garden Parties to date we thought it was only fitting to say thank you with a FREE EVENT with the lady herself. As if that wasn't enough she brings the enigmatic Marc Houle with her for this appearance. Please be aware that last year's event was a capacity show and we expect the same this year.
Marc Houle and Magda need little introduction, least of all in Leeds where they found an early UK base for themselves along with many of their label mates. It therefore, seems only fitting that they should made Leeds one of only three UK dates for their album world tour.
This autumn sees Magda release her hugely anticipated debut longplayer in the form of ‘From the Fallen Page’ as Marc releases his third full length ‘Drift’. Magda’s debut has evolved from its initial vision of a post punk, disco inspired nod to become a deeper trip into her influences and musical history… and future?! Marc’s ‘Drift’ sees him further push the limits of what is generally considered to be techno, questioning stereotypes and expanding the boundaries of sound production while somehow maintaining his unique dancefloor aesthetic.
With the Faversham’s recently refurbished main room and soundsystem preparing to be tested to its limits this is one to mark in the diary….
