We welcome back Antics after a summer off, which has seen The Sunshine Underground play numberous festivals across the UK and during that time they've persuaded some of their buddies to come and join them at their new improved clubnight. They've asked Little Boots to come and play her favourite songs and keep you guys dancing all night long.
Bad Sneakers loves The Sunshine Underground and in turn they have been a large part of the Bad Sneakers story, playing Nastyfest, getting chucked out of the clubnight, and generally partying with Bad Sneakers when it really mattered over the years.
So the natural next step in this relationship was for Bad Sneakers and The Sunshine Underground to hop into bed together and go about creating an offspring, and that they did with the clubnight Antics last year. Antics goes about welcoming friends, family and inspiration to grace the decks of The Faversham on Saturday night, the first of every month and rip up the dancefloor. And what a rosta of visiting acts it has seen already, The Pigeon Detectives, Wild Beasts, The Whip and Super Furry Animals have all graced the decks as well as mighty Sunshine Underground. Antics plays all the best bits of Bad Sneakers, indie and pop mix but adds in tunes with a more electronic edge so expect disco, and hard as hell electro too.
