    Leeds finest music venue now has Leeds’ finest student night. With DJs bringing you the best in popular music and great drinks promotions every Wednesday throughout term. Recognised as the coolest student night in town with a phat mix of dance, indie, hip-hop breaks, electro and strictly top quality tunes only... it’s the perfect way to start the weekend early...

  3. 03 Jun 10 Bowl Your Brains Out!

    Coming live from AMF Bowl in the Merrion Centre, Leeds, Bad Sneakers is going to be taking over all lanes and holding all the pins! We're bringing two rooms of DJs, dancing, bowling, burlesque, competitions, live art, shoot 'em ups and much more!

  4. 03 Jun 10 Carnaval

    The first Thursday of every month: a fantastic night of music from Brazil and Puerto Rico playing a mix of samba, Brasilian house, batucada, forro, pagodge, samba reggae/axe and the new electronic sounds of baile funk, which is the new craze in Brazil. This is all complemented by reggaeton from Puerto Rico - a type of latin ragga mixed with hiphop with Brazilian DJs Silvao and Fabio Bahia.

  5. 03 Jun 10 Learn To Jive

      Every Thursday from May 6th for 5 weeks. Teaching beginners swing jive from the 1940s-1950s, learn to dance to jump jive, jump blues, rock and roll, rockabilly and more.

    A cutting edge night featuring the best up and coming live bands from around the world and resident DJs playing the best indie, electro, new wave and rock and roll. Doors are at 11pm (earlier for bands) till 3am.

    We welcome you all to The Faversham for the World Cup, with all the big games set to be broadcast in our 4 dedicated rooms with 5 large screens and projectors along with special offers on drinks and food.

  12. 12 Jun 10 England vs USA

    England's first game of the World Cup is going to be broadcast by more screens in The Faversham than in the Houston Space Centre during the moon landing. Doors are opening from 3pm with Argentina vs Nigeria kicking things off followed by England vs Germany screened in its entirety, you know, the 5-1 game from 2001. Not the dull 1-0 defeat from Wembley, we've forgotten about that already.

    Ocean Colour Scene were one of the most successful British bands of the 90’s and their songs have been the highlight to many a festival and soundtracked many a film. This is an exclusive acoustic performance of lead singer Simon Fowler and percussionist Oscar Harrison, two of the founding members of the band.
