Babybird return after a few years away from the limelight, and the band who are best known for their 1996 number 3 hit 'You're Gorgeous', have released a staggering amount of material since forming in Sheffield in 1995.
They had built up something of an underground following in the couple of years after the release of their demos and released 6 albums worth of material in just over 24 months. The success of the single You're Gorgeous was something of an anomoly in that it wasn't representative of the bands sound but was by far the most popular of their material.
Still having the 'burden' of such a well known song hasn't hindered Stephen Jones, the bands main songwriter and leader, and they've released numerous albums to varying commercial success, but have always maintained a strong fan base, and with Johnny Depp guesting on the new record here's hoping they get the recognition they deserve!
