The Book Club feature Joe Carnall, the lead singer from the much hyped Sheffield band Milburn alongside former Arctic Monkeys bassist Andy Nicholson.
They’re playing their first gig in Leeds since forming last year, and they have a number of songs to download from their myspace page, and are building something of a following already off the back of Milburn’s large fanbase. It’s still early days for the band, but with that kind of songwriting talent at the helm, expect more brilliantly catchy guitar songs and an extremely energetic live show.
