  1. 03 Nov 09 Carnaval

    The first Tuesday of every month: a fantastic night of music from Brazil and Puerto Rico playing a mix of samba, Brasilian house, batucada, forro, pagodge, samba reggae/axe and the new electronic sounds of baile funk, which is the new craze in Brazil. This is all complemented by reggaeton from Puerto Rico - a type of latin ragga mixed with hiphop with Brazilian DJs Silvao and Fabio Bahia.

  4. 06 Nov 09 New Bohemia Feat. 4Hero

    4hero are a UK act based in Dollis Hill, North-West London. The main members of this group are Dennis ‘Dego’ McFarlane and Mark ‘Marc Mac’ Clair. As well as being a recording artists, they also run the Reinforced record label.

  8. 13 Nov 09 New Bohemia Feat. DJ Derek + Gentlemans Dub Club + Mungo HiFi

    Gentleman’s Dub Club is a nine-piece band that formed in Leeds in early 2006. With a style based in dub, ska and roots reggae, GDC have burst onto the UK circuit, rocking gigs and festivals up and down the country with their super high energy show. Combining tight grooves and a heavyweight sound, Gentleman’s Dub Club bring the party to crowds of all ages hungry for a dance floor workout, with their gigs...

    A cutting edge night featuring the best up and coming live bands from around the world and resident DJs playing the best indie, electro, new wave and rock and roll. Doors are at 11pm (earlier for bands) till 3am.

  10. 14 Nov 09 The Book Club + The Finnlys

    The Book Club feature Joe Carnall, the lead singer from the much hyped Sheffield band Milburn alongside former Arctic Monkeys bassist Andy Nicholson.

  11. 17 Nov 09 Ivyrise

    Ivyrise made their debut in April 2008 when first single Tips, released on Stage Records, reached Number 5 in the UK Indie Chart. Ivyrise toured the UK in support of the single and in June 2008 supported US rockers Bon Jovi at Twickenham Stadium..

    The High Pressure and Symbiosis Soundsystems present a night of 100% Jungle Bizness!! JUNGLE PRESSURE!  

  14. 20 Nov 09 New Bohemia Feat. Bonobo (DJ Set)

    Bonobo, aka Brighton-based DJ and musician Simon Green, makes beautifully chilled beat-driven music drawing close comparison to the works of DJ Shadow and Mr Scruff. His combination of downtempo, hip hop, funk and dub with catchy melodies skilfully immersed in organic, pastoral atmospheres has seen him quickly grow in popularity since his debut album Animal Magic in 2001.

    For November we have a very special party indeed. As a thank you for your support over the past year following a tough period of venue closures and club moves, TECHNIQUE, alongside our good friends at THE FAVERSHAM, is very happy to offer free entry before midnight as we bring one of our long-standing chums to Leeds once more for a midweek shindig.

  18. 27 Nov 09 New Bohemia Feat. Breakestra (Live) + A Man Named Miles (DJ Set)

    Breakestra is a ten-piece funk "orchestra" from Los Angeles, California, formed by Miles Tackett in 1996. They've been recording and releasing a collection of EPs and full length records ever since then, and the last time they came to Leeds they tore the roof off at The HiFi Club with a phenomenal sell out show. Band Onstage At 10pm Sharp!
