The Faversham is set in its own grounds just on the edge of the city centre of Leeds in the bustling hive of activity that is the University district between the city and Hyde Park. We’re a live music venue, a restaurant by day, bar by night and a night club in to the early hours.
Having been bought by the same people who own the award winning Hifi Club, Arts Café Bar and Wire Club in 2004, The Faversham was given a make-over with its modern refurbishment and the brand new outdoor terrace while still retaining the original look and feel of one of the oldest venues in Leeds.
Since 2004, we’ve had some of the greatest acts in the world grace our stage including Arctic Monkeys, Franz Ferdinand, Lily Allen, The Cribs, The Pigeon Detectives, The Coral, Klaxons, The Sunshine Underground, The Fratellis, Friendly Fires, Hot Chip, The Gossip, Cold War Kids, Crystal Castles, Jack Penate, Jens Lekman, The Young Knives, Noah & The Whale, Yeasayer, Peter Bjorn & John, Maximo Park, Madlib, The Feeling, Jamie T, Micah P Hinson, Cut Chemist (Jurassic 5), DJ Format, Broken Social Scene, Midlake, Of Montreal, Adam Green, Har Mar Superstar, Patrick Wolf, KT Tunstall, Lightspeed Champion, Gilles Peterson, Metronomy, Late Of The Pier, Tunng, Nightmares On Wax, Paolo Nutini, The Whip, Reverend & The Makers, The Courteeners, Deerhunter, Animal Collective, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah… The list goes on and on. it’s also become the home to the world famous Nasty Fest and Bad Sneakers and the award winning hip-hop and broken beat clubnight New Bohemia.
The Faversham Is a multi-purpose venue available for hire for Private Parties, Birthdays, Weddings, Meetings, Clubnights. It comprises of 5 Rooms with capacities ranging from 30 to 500 people and we also have substantial grounds incorporating a large outdoor terrace and garden.
